After successfully completing her apprenticeship as bank clerk, Kerstin Leibig worked in two German credit institutions in risk controlling for ten years. During this time she finished a part-time Bachelor of Science in 2012 and an EMBA in 2015. Additionally to a staying abroad at the Irish branch of the Cooperative Central Bank in 2015, she took on management tasks and also lead a large implementation project on the Basel Principles BCBS239 in risk control. In 2018 Kerstin Leibig found her way to compliance in the largest promotional bank in Germany, in which she revised the content and process of compliance management reporting by using new methods as Scrum and Design Thinking.
Since June 2020 she has been working as a Compliance Manager at BDO (Liechtenstein) AG.
