Anja Wieland

After her basic commercial apprenticeship Anja Wieland always worked in the finance and accounting/controlling and tax area. She successfully completed her extra-occupational training as a chartered specialist in accounting and financial management during 2004 to 2007 and a further training as a chartered expert in financial and managerial accounting and reporting during 2007 to 2010. Her expertise was rounded off with a training as a chartered federal tax expert during 2011 to 2014.

Anja Wieland spent the last nine years as Head of Finance and Accounting in an internationally oriented trust company based in the Principality of Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Prior to this, she worked as an accountant/controller for four years in a renowned international industrial company in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Due to her past activities she has many years of extensive practical knowledge in the areas of finance and accounting/controlling as well as in business management and tax law consulting. Among other things, she specialises in advising national and international companies on tax and accounting issues. Furthermore, she has extensive experience in the area of blockchain-based fintech companies.

She has been a member of the BDO (Liechtenstein) AG team since May 2020.
