Marc Luchsinger studied Economic Sciences with a specialization in the banking sector at the University St. Gallen HSG. Before and during his studies he worked as Allround Banker for Credit Suisse. After he completed his studies, he entered Ernst & Young Zurich in 2001, where he was responsible for bank auditing. Since 2005 he qualifies as Swiss Certified Public Accountant and increasingly focused on asset management customers. During an international assignment for Ernst & Young Luxembourg (2009 – 2011) he enhanced his professional expertise and gained international experience. Besides, in 2009 he obtained the diploma as Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and in 2010 as Certified International Fund Officer. In spring 2013 Mr Luchsinger took over a client portfolio in Liechtenstein and, after successfully passing the admission examination, he was awarded the Liechtenstein Chartered Accountant Diploma in 2014. In early 2017 he joined BDO (Liechtenstein) AG as Head of Financial Services.
Marc Luchsinger has 15 years of expertise in auditing with a specialization in asset management, he is a FINMA authorized Lead Auditor in accordance with KAG in Switzerland and FMA authorized Special-law Auditor in accordance with IUG, AIFMG as well as UCITSG in Liechtenstein. He is a member of EXPERTsuisse, member of the technical expert group for Investment Funds of the Liechtenstein Association of Chartered Accountants and member of the project group for Fund Regulations of the Office for International Financial Affairs (SIFA) of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
